Connect this unit to your points and it will deliver a knock-out punch of energy from it's huge bank of capacitors ensuring your points switch reliably every time.

This capacitor discharge unit (CDU) is our largest version with 4 huge capacitors and is suitable for larger layouts switching multiple point motor solenoids at once. For example route setting in a storage yard.

Fitted with an automatic discharge function which will discharge the capacitors once the power is removed.

Need a power supply? If your controller doesn't have a separate output (usually marked AUX or similar) then use our 18V power supply, perfect for solenoid point motors.
